Welcome message from ISPA’s President Véronique Le Mézec
Welcome
Dear Participants,
We are pleased to invite you to the 46th annual Conference of the International School Psychology Association (ISPA), held in the University city of Coimbra (Portugal), from July 16th to 19th 2025!
The conference will take place under the theme Promoting sustainability through more humane schools: The Role of School Psychology. We hope this conference will inspire school and educational psychologists from all around the world, and other professionals working with children and adolescents, to reflect upon how to support school efforts to become more humane and adopt sustainable practices.
The conference program will be designed to foster the exchange of ideas and common interests in the field of school and educational psychology, to engage in various cultural and social activities, and to join in diverse interest groups. We are honored to have distinguished keynote speakers who will address vital aspects emphasizing the significance of relationships both in school and at home. In alignment with the conference theme, particular attention will be given to how sustainability can guide the invaluable work of school and educational psychologists.
The conference will bring together a diverse group of practitioners, researchers, faculty members, students, policy-makers, and others, all eager to share their professional insights. Our goal is to inspire each participant to contribute to strengthening school psychology as an applied science on a global scale.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to the beautiful and historic city of Coimbra for the 2025 ISPA Conference!
Kind regards,
On behalf of the Local organizing committee,
Vítor Alexandre Coelho
